Stand again where you filmed. Tokijiku makes D2VR, a Mac application that turns ordinary video and 360° camera footage into video you can watch in 3D in a VR headset.
We develop and sell software for turning video into VR. What we are making now is D2VR, an application for the Mac.
A 360° camera gives you a picture you can look around in, but a flat one. D2VR gives every frame depth and prepares a separate picture for each eye. In a headset, what was near looks near and what was far looks far.
-
1
Bring it in
360° photos and video, or ordinary ones from a phone or camera.
-
2
Estimate depth
Frame by frame, AI estimates how far away each point in the picture is.
-
3
Make left and right
From that depth it builds two pictures, shifted the way your two eyes would see them.
-
4
Watch in a headset
On a VR headset such as Meta Quest, the result is in 3D.
Takes people out
Footage shot on a street has passers-by in it, and the person holding the camera. D2VR finds them, removes them and fills in what was behind.
Enlarges small sources
Old, low-resolution footage looks blocky when a headset spreads it across your view. D2VR can enlarge it to a size you choose before converting.
Stays on your Mac
All of the work happens on your own Mac. Nothing is uploaded.

非時
Tokijiku is an old Japanese word for something not bound by time. The Kojiki, Japan’s oldest chronicle, tells of tokijiku no kaku no konomi, a fruit from the Land of Eternity that grants eternal life. Eternal life means permanence, and that echoes the founder’s name, which is why we chose it.
